Gabriel's Adoptive Mother

Tona Ramirez, Gabriel Maradiaga's adoptive mother, has welcomed Gabriel into her home as her own child. It is amazing to see the strides Gabriel has made in such a short period of time. He is chubbier, happier and more energetic than last year. Although we continue to help with fortified milk and basic goods, the family has taken on almost the entire financial burden of having another child. In a meeting last week with the wife of Gabriel's biological father, Tona insisted that the best option for Gabriel was with her and will fight to keep him.
